Last weekend I found myself on the sunny shores of Bournemouth doing my first interview with Marina Scott, Assistant Editor of Dog World.
As a former Junior Handler World Champion herself, I was interested to hear her experiences in the industry and how tools like social media and websites can engage the younger generation to get involved in dog activities like Showing, Agility and Obedience. Publishing her own book and DVD on Dog Handling and holding sessions on handling, she is very keen to educate younger people in that area.
Got a couple of exciting projects coming up which I’m really excited about in the next few weeks.
Firstly, I’m doing my first video interview with Marina Scott, Assistant Editor of Dog World with help from the British Independent Producer Graham Inman. Interview should be released in the next couple of weeks once everything is edited and ready to go.
Additionally, the Alfie’s Law Foundation charity is being launched on the 1st of May. The charity fights for some amazing causes, to find out more about it, have a look at my blog post here.
After that I’ll be stewarding Discover Dogs at the London Pet Show (11th-12th May) and looking after all the breed stands. No doubt I’ll be bringing a camera and find some exciting things to blog about!
Is anyone going to be there? What are you going there for?
